The House

A big farmhouse (known as a gascon double) with adjoining barns set in a hectare of land on the outskirts of the village, A Larroustat is a house of character and charm.  We have restored it sympathetically, keeping to the style of the original house while introducing comfort, colour and convenience. 

There is a swimming pool (10m x 5m) available, of course, for your use.  We have a large garden with a pond, fruit trees, views of the mountains, and plenty of shady seats where you can sit and read in peace.  We can also offer you croquet, table tennis and boules.

Everyone who visits comments on the peace and tranquility here; although the village is visible from the house we have no close neighbours, the road at the end of our drive is used by occasional farming traffic and cyclists, and the church bell sounds only distantly.
